[00:00:29] Kelley introduces Kevin Brewer, a former military veteran, athlete, and resilience coach. Kevin has 22 years of experience working in classified military and federal law enforcement initiatives and now helps men and women strengthen their mindset and leadership skills.
[00:03:22] Kevin opens up about his challenging childhood, growing up in a broken home with an alcoholic father. Despite the odds, he rose through the military ranks quickly, proving that your past doesn’t define your future.
[00:06:10] He shares how his health rapidly declined after a severe injury while weight training. His condition led to neurological issues, chronic pain, and heart rate irregularities, making even simple tasks unbearable.
[00:08:47] After years of misdiagnoses and being dismissed by doctors, Kevin nearly gave up. A turning point came when he made a promise: if he survived, he would dedicate his life to helping others.
[00:10:25] Through his background in intelligence analysis, Kevin began researching his own condition, eventually diagnosing himself with cervical instability. This breakthrough led him to a doctor in Colorado for stem cell therapy, which started his road to recovery.
[00:16:24] Kevin emphasizes that health is a skill, not just a state of being. He explains how small, consistent habits—like tracking food intake and identifying inflammation triggers—helped him take control of his well-being.
