For many of us work is a place where we *have* to go. But what if it was a place we *wanted* to go? What would have to be true for work to be a better place for all of us?

My guest and employee experience design expert, Lisa Morris, is passionate about designing ways to make the world of work a much better place for people.

In this conversation Lisa and I discuss her perspective on shifts in the workplace in the last 30 years, discovering human-centered design and shifting her professional focus to employee experience design, mentorship, distinguishing between technical expertise and true leadership, deep listening and making a connection with each other at work, the importance mindset plays in enabling people to design effective solutions, how studying typography helped her be a more effective consultant, the workplace as community, how to make work a better place for people and more.
