Black and white thinking is the tendency to think of everything in absolutes or extremes. It involves categorizing things as either completely good or bad, right or wrong, success or failure, without considering that there are shades of gray or a middle ground. It limits your potential, boxes in your mind and can keep you stuck in cycles of self sabotage.

In this episode, Ali and Tiarra explore the world of black and white thinking and discuss how it can stop you from achieving your goals. Both ladies have struggled with this mental pattern, and it took others pointing out the dangers of this form of thinking for them to recognize it and shift the pattern to something more positive.

Black and white thinking is only an illusion. The reality is that there are shades of grey when it comes to most situations. Something can be "both" or "and" not just "either/or". Tune in to hear the ladies detailed experiences with this type of thinking, how it hindered their progress and what they did to escape it.
