Host John Haskell welcomes back Chloe Diegel to the Ranchonomics podcast to discuss the steps she and her husband took to manage their farm and family following Alex’s accident. They dive into the importance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in creating a resilient business, the benefits of clear communication within a team, and how building a business that can function without its owner present is essential for long-term stability.

Chloe Diegel owns Robinette Farms with her husband, Alex McKiernan, in Southeast Nebraska. Their mission is to deliver great food that transforms people and the land. They farm and ranch as well as operate the Local Food Subscription, a membership for individuals and families to shop year-round from local farmers, ranchers, and food artisans. They want to connect people to the land through food and deliver premium, local products that their customers can trust.

Be sure to listen to Part 1 of this conversation.
