When You Have Nothing to Give

There are seasons when your heart feels emptied, your hands seem bare, and your soul whispers, "I have nothing left to give." But beloved, God sees you. He knows your exhaustion. He understands your brokenness.

Jesus reminds us in Matthew 11:28 (NIV), "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." You are not meant to carry the weight of giving when you feel poured out. Sometimes, the greatest gift you can offer is simply your presence — your silent prayers, your quiet tears, your willingness to just be.

Remember the widow in Mark 12:41-44 who gave only two small coins? It wasn’t the size of her offering that mattered — it was her heart. God isn't looking for perfection. He's not asking for what you don't have. He cherishes your surrendered heart even when your hands feel empty.

Today, rest in His love. Let Him fill you again. And know this: you are never empty in His eyes. You are deeply loved, even when you have nothing left to give.
