He walked 1 and struck out 4 in taking a no-decision. Buehler got to inning-ending Double Plays early on in the game and retired the side in order in the 6th and again in the 7th to finish off his night. 2-0 previous 2 outings. 9-7 in his 16 outings. 6-6 Record.

Sox at the Dish: Jarren Duran got the Red Sox off to a great start, leading off the game with a Home Run off Zack Wheeler. It's Duran's 9th Home Run this season and would have been out in 14 of the 30 Big League parks (Baseball Savant). It' the 9th time that Duran has led off a game with a Home Run in his career and 4th time he's done it this season. Trevor Story tied the game at 2-2 with an RBI Single in the 6th Inning. Story entered Monday with just 1 RBI in his previous 8 games. Sox could not push another run across with Wilyer Abreu & Ceddanne Rafaela both striking out against Zack Wheeler, who stuck out 10 on the night. The Red Sox could not bring the free runner across in the 10th ended up going 1-for-10 with RISP and left 8 runners on base.

Richard Fitts and Cristopher Sanchez are the scheduled starting pitchers. Lucas Giolito is slated to make the start in the finale Wednesday night. The Sox have a scheduled off day Thursday and open up a 3-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers Friday night at Fenway. The Red Sox began a stretch of playing 12 of their 1st 15 on the road out of the All-Star Break on Friday.
