Episode Type: Inspirational People Interview

Watch on YouTube here >

In this Inspirational People interview on the Share Life podcast, I'm speaking with comedian and writer, Andres Schabelman. Andres was a successful tech entrepreneur, having been involved in the technology industry early on, including Airbnb and Fiverr. His accolades matter less to him now than his current dream of showing the magic and power of human connection around the world. Born and raised in New Orleans to Argentine-Jewish parents, he was surrounded by a broader Colombian-Catholic community in the South. He's also the author of the book, Captains Wanted (affiliate link), about how a person can do all that is expected of them and still fail, and what it looks like to forge ahead on a new path.

Andres shares his deeply personal journey of confronting societal pressures, numbed emotions, and the pivotal moment of being robbed that forced him to re-evaluate everything. Discover how to identify and break free from living by others' values, start listening to your inner voice, and find joy in the journey rather than just the destination.
