In this profound reminder, Shaykh Amin awakens the heart to the essential state of mind required before entering the sanctified realm of Salāh. He reminds us that the deliberate effort of summoning one’s awareness into the conscious presence of Allah, the King of all kings, is the very key to attaining 'ihsān – ‘worshipping Allah as though you see Him’. Through his words, the Shaykh directs our gaze to the luminous example of the Prophet ﷺ and his noble Companions, who longed to detach from the fleeting world and seek refuge in Salāh—the divine sanctuary that bestows serenity, solace, and ultimate felicity.
