some stories never get the chance to be told and that’s what this episode is about.

in 2019, i lost someone who was like family to domestic violence. i was in my senior year of college, and it changed the way i saw everything... silence, safety, grief, and storytelling. this one’s not about headlines or hashtags. it’s about what happens when someone’s story is stolen, and why i believe so deeply that stories matter. the messy ones, the hidden ones, the ones people never get to tell themselves.

if you or someone you know is in a situation that doesn’t feel safe, please reach out: National Domestic Violence Hotline — call 1-800-799-7233 or text START to 88788 (24/7, free, confidential). internationally: the Hot Peach Pages directory: listings of abuse hotlines, crisis centres & shelters across 110+ languages and countries. or the NO MORE Foundation Global Directory: find support, hotlines, and shelters in almost every UN-recognized country.

this one’s for shelbi🪽💜
