On the face of it, a Lando Norris/McLaren-Mercedes walkover - and a straightforward race - seemed inevitable. In reality, the 2025 Mexican GP was anything but. It produced stunning drives not only from Lando but also from Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and Oliver Bearman. It included a dramatically-spectacular first corner melée. And it created, one-on-one, a Max-versus-Charles, Red Bull-versus-Ferrari, soft Pirelli-versus-Hard Pirelli closing battle for P2 that...ended in a VSC. It had almost everything, in other words - as Peter Windsor describes in this podcast. The action begins on Friday, continues with a special Mark Slade interview after free practice and Saturday and concludes with the race on Sunday.
