Kevin Devonport is a multi-award winning artist - his work has been displayed worldwide to much acclaim… but his entry to the art world is not what you might expect because he learned to paint whilst he was serving a prison sentence for drug offences.

In this conversation - we discuss how art helped Kevin rebuild his life from rock bottom. Prison reform is a complicated and nuanced topic - but Kevin’s story is testament to how creative programmes in prisons can inspire and give hope of a new life beyond prison.
