Lisa Laniewski is a lifelong educator and counselor who has devoted much of her career to teaching and guiding children and adults with special needs in both classroom and residential settings. After the unimaginable loss of her daughter, Amber, in 2014, Lisa’s life took a new direction.
She is a Certified Grief Educator, a dedicated volunteer with Helping Parents Heal, and most recently, the author of the powerful book God Winks…and Amber Waves: A Mother’s Transformative Journey through Grief, Love and Purpose.
Her book reveals how signs, synchronicities, and divine nudges can become stepping stones through grief—showing us how love transcends death, how purpose can rise from pain, and how the heart can be healed in unexpected ways. Lisa’s story reminds us that even in our deepest losses, there can be light, connection, and even a calling to help others.
