As a young girl living in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, Pat recounts an evening of fear and terror as she and her parents encounter something they have never seen before. A large flying object descends out of the sky toward them, surrounding their car in a beam of blue light. The next thing Pat remembers is being in a strange, surreal room surrounded by the unknown. This story describes how a families spiritual beliefs are challenged by something non-human and unstoppable.
