The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) Players Association and the NWSL entered into a historic new collective bargaining agreement that might be the "most significant paradigm shift in the history of professional sports." Among other things, the new CBA eliminates the player draft, allows all players to become free agents when their contract expires and prohibits player trades without the player's permission.
