Thank you for joining us for another episode of The Texas Half-Court Trap Podcast. On the show today are your hosts, Aaron Meullion and Jonas Clark, joined as always by Stephen Anderson, all of Project Spurs.

This week, we review the latest on the men’s basketball programs for the Texas State Bobcats, UIW Cardinals and the UTSA Roadrunners. Texas State has climbed atop the Sun Belt Conference, the Cardinals dropped an important one to SFA and the Roadrunners lost another conference series.

UTSA’s struggles set up the topic for today of “Is ‘Hero Ball’ Good or Bad?”. As the Roadrunners have had a disappointing season to this point, so too has Jhivvan Jackson and Keaton Wallace, the latter of two who may be finally piecing it together. In last weeks’ loss, the duo shot 11 of 40 from the floor, and their heroic efforts to attempt to bring UTSA back into the game may have done more harm than good.

We discuss this topic, and invite you to join in with us on The Texas Half-Court Trap Podcast.
