How are you feeling about Canada’s housing affordability crisis?

The latest data shows that housing affordability actually worsened in Q3 2023. Are better days ahead? There’s a real debate on this. On one hand, more interest rate hikes are likely over and are expected to trend down next year. On the other hand, demand for homes far exceeds the available supply and there’s no relief in sight.

I welcome David Larock, mortgage broker and President of Integrated Mortgage Planners to share his take on the housing market and the recent housing headlines in the media. Plus, he gives his mortgage advice for those who are facing mortgage renewal or planning to buy a home.
