Andrey X is an independent journalist and human rights advocate based in the West Bank. Originally from Russia, he holds an anthropology degree from University College London. After fleeing political persecution following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, he began focusing on human rights in the West Bank.
Since 2023, Andrey has worked with organizations to support vulnerable Palestinian communities under threat from the Israeli military and settler violence. He shares on-the-ground reports through social media and various publications. His work has made him a target of Israeli state repression, leading to multiple arrests and assaults.
