Efficiency is my favourite subject to talk about, because of my upbringing and what I've seen the people in my life having to do with very limited resources. When there are situations like illness in the family, one really needs to step up and become incredibly efficient to organise and run everyday life. Because I’ve seen that being done so brilliantly in my family, it’s a tragedy to me when we live our lives in a constant struggle and fight that is not caused by circumstances beyond our control, but is the creation of our own minds.

So how do we avoid that and cut out all the craziness, the dissonance, and the wasted effort of our mind? How do we streamline and orientate attention in such a way that we are continually ending that struggle and taking the big leap of efficiency? That’s what we’ll explore in this episode.

What is Covered:

-How to draw a hard line between what is achievable and what isn’t

-Recognising the difference between a sane and an identified mind

-The incredible capacity of our mind for mental representation

-The fundamental inefficiency vs. fundamental efficiency of our lives

-How to nurture the power of recognising unachievable wants

-Honesty that’s gained when we fully understand our wants
