Dr. Bauer develops machine learning and cloud-based bioinformatics solutions that help fight emerging diseases, like Covid-19. She is passionate about improving health by understanding the secrets in our genome using cloud computing while also building a strong community of practice through open source technology, keynote presentations, and inclusive interdisciplinary collaborations.
