This episode begins a series of recordings centered around stars from the wide world of wrestling who transitioned from the mat to the big screen.

Hulk Hogan was one the first prolific wrestlers from the Golden Age to attempt branching out of wrestling and extend his popularity to the movies where his over-the-top persona could possibly bloom a career apart from slaps, punches, and body slams.

Movie Reviews

Chris watched "The Wild Life" and walked out. Apparently, this Robinson Curoso-esque movie could not hold his attention for the ninety-minute duration of the movie.

JJ watched "Sully "and explains this movie as Clint Eastwood fighting with kids gloves on. This was the story of the Landing on The Hudson without the Hollywood touch. Clint did his job with this film and just told the story as Captain Sullinger only landing the plane.

Chris Quote: "The perfect movie for your grandma."

Movie Suggestion of the Week: Suburban Commando

1. Shelly Duvall

Did Stanley Kubrick break Shelly Duvall? She was good in this movie but seems to have hammed it up a lot.

Shelly hasn't been in a movie for some time and so we question why? Was it because she goes out of Hollywood or did Hollywood grow away from her?

Chris's Favorite line reading:

Christopher Lloyd: "I was frozen today!"

2. Starring Danny Devito and Arnold Schwarzenegger

The Twins were actually approached to partner up for a different version of this movie with less comedy and more action.

3. Get 'em some props

The gun used by the bounty hunters were repurposed from Masters of the Universe and the tracker used was the PKE meter from Ghostbusters.

4. Afterburner

Kid playing the video game was playing Afterburner. Shep either had a flashback from past interstellar battles or this movie was just poorly directed.

5. From The Mat to The Screen

Why did Hogan's transition not go so well with him being and possessing such a great persona in the ring?

Mentions:

Denzel Washington in Flight and The Equalizer

Dr. Drew Pinsky canceled or fired from CNN

Dr. Ruth Assassin

Weiner Dick Picks Again

FLAVA TEXT:

"I was frozen today!"

"Boy when this guy shovels it, he uses both hands."
