Did you know that the first commercially available home video game was "Pong," released in 1972?

Since then, access to video games has increased exponentially over the last 50+ years, with the rise accelerating further with the introduction of mobile games on our phones.

And yes...they can be fun, challenging, and stimulating, but at what cost?

All this month, Susan is joined by Ian McCready, the founder of Self-Ctrl, a Northwest Arkansas Non-profit that has taken on the mission to expose the traumatic and addictive nature of video games and screen time and, as their mission statement says: To serve families and individuals by educating, equiping and empowering them to build self control around screen time and video gaming to redeem the time for good works.
