In this week’s episode I sit down to review the 2025 Chinese Drama ‘Moonlight Mystique’, staring Bai Lu and Ao Ruipeng.

This drama is a xianxia, so it should’ve have been a slam dunk for me, but the writing left a little bit to be desired for. Even with that in mind, I still overall enjoyed the drama. So join me as I ran through what I liked, what I didn’t, and how I think this is one Bai Lu best roles, even if the drama isn’t the best.
