Nov 25 SNAP VS Job Skills

I've been around for 81 years and I've long been aware that too many people receive welfare of one kind or another, they could work, but they don't want to. (0:10) They plan to live off their neighbors their entire lives. Some actually brag about it and call hard-working taxpayers stupid for not learning how to game the system.

Any debate about marketable skills and abilities just won't suffice anymore, as if it ever did. But a lot of SNAP recipients do work, but their incomes are too low to provide for their material needs. (0:33) These recipients aren't lazy.

They're hard-working, but they're not earning enough for a free market to make ends meet. (0:40) But if they can't earn enough to live without assistance. That means they lack the skills or ambition to obtain the skills required to produce more income. And we the taxpayer fills the gap.
