If you’re stuck on your personal statement, start with your story! your challenges, experiences, and what shaped your dreams. No extracurriculars? No problem! Your real-life responsibilities matter just as much. And if a school rejects you? Keep pushing forward!
Not every application will result in an acceptance letter, but that’s okay. As Professor Jeannie puts it, “If you don’t get selected, then that school doesn’t deserve you.” Rejections are simply part of the process, and they should not discourage you from pursuing your dreams. Keep applying and stay committed to your goals. The right school for you will recognize your potential.
