Dean Hall was the first person to swim the length of the 187 mile long Willamette River in Oregon. He accomplished the feat after dealing with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. His doctor advised against it. The swim was a “ Hail Mary”. The swim miraculously cured him of the cancer. He detailed the episode in a book. The Wild Cure. He later became the first to swim the length of the River Shannon in Ireland. He is a big proponent of cold therapy and spending time in nature, where man is meant to be. Hall was a previous guest of Telich Talks in October of 2023.
