Test Driven Everything (TDE) is an evolution of the software development practice called Test Driven Development (TDD). In TDD, developers write tests that define the desired behavior of code before writing the actual code. TDE extends this core principle of defining expected outcomes and iteratively validating progress to all types of professional tasks, not just software development. It leverages the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help define, execute against, and evaluate "tests" or success criteria in domains where code-based unit tests are not applicable. Instead of focusing on code, TDE centers on establishing clear, measurable objectives that AI can assist with and against which the work's success is evaluated.
