In the summer of 2020, best-selling author Sebastian Junger nearly died. He was rushed to the hospital, and while medical personnel administered emergency care, he slipped out of consciousness. It was then he began to see, and experience, things that he had a hard time explaining. The medical staff were successful, and Junger’s life was saved. Junger recently published his reflections on his near-death experience in a new book, “In My Time of Dying.” After hearing Junger interviewed on the Joe Rogan Experience, Brian wanted to dissect the conversation with NDE researcher and expert, John Burke. The close friends sit down to discuss what can be learned from Junger’s experience, and how it can influence our lives today.
