After every overlanding trip, I follow a simple but super effective routine to make sure my rig and gear are ready for the next adventure. In this video, I’m walking you through my exact post-trip maintenance process—what I check, what I clean, what I repair, and how I keep everything organized so I’m never scrambling the night before a trip.

I’ll cover the key things I inspect on my vehicle (tires, suspension, fluids, etc.), plus the often-overlooked gear checks that can save you a ton of hassle—like recharging batteries, drying tents and sleeping systems, cleaning kitchen setups, and making sure your fridge and storage bins are good to go.

This routine has helped me prevent breakdowns, catch small issues before they become expensive problems, and streamline my packing so every trip starts off smoother. Whether you’re a weekend camper or a regular overlander, these simple habits can make a huge difference in your long-term reliability.

If you’ve got your own post-trip checklist or maintenance tips, drop them in the comments—I’m always looking to learn from the community!
