ASBL 35 Lloyd Chapman, ASBL Founder, is Censored on X

Lloyd Chapman, president and founder of the American Small Business League, discussed being censored since 2013 for exposing the diversion of small business contracts to big businesses. He used to be invited on all the major news shows. Congressmen would ask him to support their projects and legislation. Hundreds of stories used to be written about his work, often daily.

All that changed in 2013. Our phones stopped ringing. A press release services told Lloyd they would no longer run his press releases. A global reputation management firm was found to be the perpetrator of Lloyd’s digital and communications blackout.

From 2023 to 2024, Lloyd posts on X.com grew in popularity as he supported Robert F. Kennedy’s presidential campaign. But when Kennedy switched to supporting Donald Trump in August 2024, everything changed. Lloyd’s followers could no longer see his posts, and his views went from over a million to single digits. That’s nor organically possible with nearly 18,000 followers.

Then, in early 2025, after his posts criticized many things about the new Trump administration, Lloyd started getting vicious attacks by fake accounts on X.

Please see our www.DontCheatWomen.com project. We want Congress to raise the percentage of federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses from 5% to 15%.

It’s not charity. Women sell what the government buys. Women own 40% of all businesses. But companies owned by men get at least 95% of federal contracts. Without economic fairness, women can’t be political equals.

Men hold more political offices and have more political influence simply because they earn and save more than women.

Please tell us what you think. 415-404-7733.

Big businesses must stop getting federal small business contracts. The definition of a small business should be 100 or less employees, since 98% of all businesses have less than 100 employees. It should not be 500 or 1,000 or the 2,000-employee firms that get “small business” contracts.

We must make Congress address these problems. Then we will have free speech again and, when legitimate small businesses get the federal contracts to which they are entitled by law, the economy will boom.
