In boxing we always talk about, “you learn from your mistakes.” Or “You learn from your losses.” I couldn’t agree more! But with certain pad work the boxer lands their shots 100% of the time, so where is the failure? Today I jabber on about how we can destabilise pads to make them more messy and bridge that gap between pads and sparring to help with (potentially) greater skill transfer.
