In the third episode of 2022 I get to have a family reunion with my ultra talented cousin Roland Beaulieu!

Growing up music was always around us...if not in our own homes, we'd be getting together with our relatives and having kitchen parties well into the early hours of the next morning.

Roland and I have a great time reminiscing about those early years, how he was recruited to play in a band with his dad before he even hit his teens. We talk about how he and his brother figured out a way to dissect their guitar heroes parts by using a cassette player (remember those) and some popsicle sticks.

It was such a fun chat, and there was far too much for one episode - so I had to split it into two... I hope you all enjoy the first half of my conversation with Roland!
