Today, we sit down with Wilmer Hale partner Danielle Spinelli, an NACDL member and principal author of NACDL’s joint amicus briefs in both Florida v. Jardines and Florida v. Harris. Jardines, a casein which the Florida Supreme Court below held that a narcotics detection dog sniff of a house is a search under the Fourth Amendment for which probable cause is required.
