Today is Don Helwigs birthday. He was my grandfather. Sadly, he passed around 6 months ago.
Luckilly I was able to sit down with him and do a live stream before he left us. He talks about Coming to Elkhart in 1959. He was chasing a girl, my grandma.
They didn't quite work out as a couple. 2 kids and a quick divorce. I think this really impacted him,
Kick back and listen to my grandpa tell us about his rambling ways.
