If you’ve been doing the inner work — journaling, therapy, nervous system regulation — but still feel stuck or numb, this episode is for you. I explore how real, sustainable healing often begins not in the mind, but in the body.

Using Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a foundation, I share what I’m learning about the bottom-up approach to healing — starting with the basics: food, hydration, rest, movement, and daily self-care. Things like brushing your hair, making your meals, and tending to your body aren’t just self-care… they are trauma healing.

We’ll talk about nervous system safety, somatic healing, and how survival mode keeps us disconnected from joy — and how returning to the most fundamental needs might be the missing piece in your emotional and spiritual growth.
