The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is pursuing more workforce cuts after firing hundreds of probationary employees earlier this year, NOAA says it's looking at major budget cuts next year as part of plans to refocus on its core mission. NOAA is now facing a lawsuit from fired probationary employees, claiming the agency relied on flawed personnel data to make those initial termination decisions.
