On this week’s episode we discuss Woman of the Hour, Anna Kendrick’s directorial debut, and based on the true story of 70s serial killer Rodney Alcala. The film follows ‘Sheryl Bradshaw’ (Kendrick) and her appearance on the game show The Dating Game, where Alacala was a contestant. At the time of his appearance on the show, Alcala had murdered at least five woman, and would go on to receive the moniker, ‘The Dating Game Killer’.
