Notes from the episode:
Scenarios for role-play:
- Student isn’t doing their homework and is at risk of failing out of class
- Student repeatedly shows up late to class (or just doesn’t show up)
- Employee keeps sending strongly worded emails and it’s affecting the team dynamic
- Employee is always marked “Away” on Slack, or declines meetings repeatedly, or just doesn’t respond to anything
- You’ve already given an employee feedback on two occasions about low performance that could lead to a PIP; their performance has not improved
- Or if you’re particularly brave: Your manager berated you in front of your team yesterday and you would like to help them make future feedback more constructive
