There is magic in everything and Dr. Priyanka Naidu, a medical doctor and aspiring pediatric reconstructive surgeon, discusses how she consistently finds magic throughout her work. Her work in Operation Smile, formerly as a part of the fellowship program and now as the Senior Advisor to Research, Education, and Innovation, aims to collaborate with local people and develop solutions to address the needs of various countries. Dr. Naidu discusses the importance of female leadership in global health, the need to address health inequities in surgery, and how to attain the Sustainable Development Goals.
