Hey Harvard University students, it's Jenny with your Campus Update for November 24 through December 1. Let's get you set for the week—fast. First up—Course evaluations open today, November 24. Take a few minutes to share your feedback; it helps improve courses for everyone. Next, Thanksgiving recess starts this Wednesday, November 26, and runs through Sunday, November 30. Enjoy the break! Finally, if you're a February degree candidate, remember that final degree applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, December 1. Don't miss this crucial deadline. The annual Harvard–Yale chess match is set to take place this week. This friendly yet competitive tradition dates back to 1900 and is a highlight for both schools' chess clubs. The match typically consists of four or five games, with the team scoring the most points declared the winner. It's a great opportunity to support our players and enjoy some strategic gameplay. Looking for something to do on Monday evening? Check out "Monday’s Pages" at The Comedy Studio. It's a weekly cold-reading series where actors and writers present new, dialogue-driven material. The event starts at 6:15 p.m. with casting, followed by performances at 7 p.m. It's a fantastic way to experience fresh theatrical works and support local talent. Also on Monday, Harvard Book Store is hosting author Max Perry Mueller at 7:00 p.m. He'll be discussing his new book, "Wakara's America: The Life and Legacy of a Native Founder of the American West." It's a free event and a great chance to engage with contemporary historical narratives. For a unique dining experience, consider visiting Wusong Road in Harvard Square. Known for its creative Asian-inspired dishes and vibrant atmosphere, it's a great spot to unwind and enjoy some delicious food.
