My amazing guest today is Cora Darlington, a life architect, burnout specialist and a dear friend of mine. We're discussing envy - how it can show up within friendships or within the workspace; how, when left unchecked, envy can begin to eat away at us from the inside; and how, if we go into it and explore what envy is showing us, we can reveal something about ourselves that we did not know. Especially when it comes to friendships, we want to speak to the importance of having a complete transparency and honesty with our friends.

Before we get into the episode with Cora, we're going to hear a brief snippet of a conversation between myself and astrologer Danielle about envy, and how we can begin to transmute and move through that uncomfortable feeling.

What You’ll Discover:

  • 3:30 - Characteristics and influences of Pluto that are connected with the feeling of envy
  • 8:48 - The roots of envy and why it shows up a lot in relationships between women
  • 17:48 - Why thinking positively cannot dissolve envy and how we can approach it instead
  • 30:41 - How we can start with the inner work to dissolve shame around envy
  • 37:50 - The pitfalls of our common understanding of the Law of Attraction
  • 42:37 - How we can help women to get in touch with their true emotions
