In this episode, I tell a relatively forgotten story about one of the worst atrocities to happen in slavery. It's a story that's not well-known but as horrific and sadistic as it is, its history still infects the city of New Orleans to this day. I talk about how this abomination is why no slave could have had a "personal benefit" from the diabolical institution. This is in relation to Florida announcing new guidelines for middle school kids that speak on the matter. Next, the trial of classified documents for Former President Trump now has a set date as criminal inquiries ramp up in other states. Then as the nation and world deal with a deadly heatwave, migrants in Arizona are left caged outside to fend for themselves.
