On today’s episode, we have Alita Fabiano, communications specialist, and advocate for inclusive change-making based in Ottawa, Canada.

Alita lost her hearing at 19 years of age. She’s since made it her mission to encourage, promote and represent inclusive growth so that those belonging to underrepresented communities are given the opportunity to fully participate in society. Throughout her career in communications and policy, she has seen how true inclusion can foster the creative thinking necessary in finding solutions to more inclusive communities and the climate crisis.

In today’s episode, we will learn about some of the biggest issues faced when it comes to disability justice, ableism, and what an inclusive future could really look like when we consider everyone in the face of the climate crisis.
