In this special Tree Talks edition of The Labia Lounge pod I hit record while chatting to a mate on the c*nt couch out in naytchah! I'd gone camping and happened to have the couch in the back of my van so we popped it out under some pines and had a yarn about whatever came up and this episode is the result.

We spoke about chronic health challenges and chronic illness, parenting - both conscious and unconscious - and privilege. There're some personal stories about our experiences with our own fathers, and chronic health issues - both mental and physical - as well as some relevant and related stories that came up about people we know (all of which I have the go-ahead to share on here from the owners of said stories).

It's an informal but heartfelt chat and as this year winds to an end I hope it resonates with some of you and helps you feel seen and validated in your experiences if you've had a shitty or narcissistic parent, if you're a parent yourself, if you deal with health battles or mystery illness, or if you've had a shocker of a breakup recently too!
