There is a new fear that the Trump administration intends to keep immigrants detained by ICE locked in detention centers indefinitely. A new report by the Washington Post indicates ICE policy is changing to make undocumented immigrants ineligible for a bond hearing. That means that the months and sometimes years it takes to fight removal proceedings would be spent in lockup.
