Quiet Hiring for Growth Marketing
Manage episode 467646079 series 3647806
The term Quiet Quitting captured the silent but detrimental phenomenon of employees feeling so disengaged, disconnected and undervalued at work that they resort to performing only the bare minimum to meet their assigned responsibilities. It also spawned a correlating effect termed Quiet Hiring, where companies ask employees to temporarily take on new responsibilities beyond their current job description. However, the term also encompasses the expanded use of contractors or freelancers to more quickly fill skill gaps. In this episode, we focus on this latter definition in our conversation with Marian Temesvary and Martha Porter-Fiszer of Health Mavens, a C-suite and growth advisory firm for health-related brands.
