In this first episode of "The Motivational Mic," host, Jacob Orlick, a 16-year-old pediatric cancer survivor and amputee, shares his journey from a typical childhood to being diagnosed with a rare cancer at age 11. Jacob recounts the challenges he faced, including intense chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, and eventually, the amputation of his right leg. Despite these obstacles, he learned to walk with a prosthetic leg during the COVID-19 lockdown and began sharing motivational videos on Instagram. Now, cancer-free for over four years, Jacob uses his podcast to inspire others, raise awareness about pediatric cancer, and honor the support he received from family, friends, and medical professionals!
