The Nephilim Hunter

Episode 1:
Rufus Hardy, Fishcop. After twenty-seven years working for the Department of Fish and Game, he’s ready to collect on his pension. But, the universe, it seems, has other plans for him.

Opening:
The Olympic National Park hosts 4 different temperate rainforests. Each one is dense. Each one is dark. Each one hosts old growth trees dating back a thousand years.

Now, they host something even older - - and darker.

The only thing unusual about this day is the arrival of Officer Joe Simmons, a recent transplant from the Tucson, AZ P.D. He’s come to this idyllic, most remote, Northwest corner of the United States to, “get away from the heat, the dust storms, the 9000 degree heat - - and the gangs,” of Arizona.

He should have stayed in Tucson.

Highlights:
On a routine check of an out-of-bounds campfire, Officer Rufus Hardy and his new partner, Joe Simmons, walk into a situation they are completely unprepared for. What they encounter is not included in the Fish and Game training manual. What they encounter is -- The Nephilim.
