In this next episode of The Open Heart Collective, I am honored to announce my special guest Rowen Bridler. + Rowen Bridler is one of the few singer-songwriters who write with a sense of humor about politics, the music industry and the cult of celebrity. Her songs have been likened to a more politically minded Kate Bush, with a clear influence from the likes of Tori Amos, Lily Allen, and Regina Spektor. Her softer songs offer strikingly rich cello lines mixed with delicate piano and uplifting vocals. In sharp contrast, her more provocative songs fit punctuated, rhythmic piano alongside sometimes staccato, almost mockingly upbeat singing with a slice of harsh reality. + This was pre-recorded on April 20th, 2018 + Follow Rowen HERE https://rowenbridler.com/ https://www.facebook.com/RowenMusic https://twitter.com/rowenmusic https://www.instagram.com/rowenmusic/ --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the-open-heart-collective/support
