Today, I want to talk to you about something I recently posted in the OrthoPreneurs Facebook group: love languages.
You've probably heard me talk about it before, especially if you've seen me speak at Summit or AAO.
When it comes to teams, I always talk about love languages because it's amazing how we orthodontists, even though we're smart people, can miss the mark when it comes to our teams.
I see it all the time with these year-end parties. Everyone loves to post on social media about taking their team to the fanciest spa in town or throwing a huge lunch and showering them with gifts.
But here's the news flash: not everyone loves that stuff.
Some people might love them, but others would prefer something different. A one-on-one conversation, a thoughtful gift, or quality time spent together.
The key is to be thoughtful and emotionally intelligent to understand how your team members feel loved and appreciated.
So, how can you learn your team's love languages? Tune in to this 5-minute Friday episode to learn more!
