Smith’s Sayings – What did Arthur Smith say to the media earlier today? Steve Palazzolo from the 33rd Team joined the show. Steve isn’t sure if Steelers fans should be ‘excited’ about Adam Thielen, but he can do some things the Steelers haven’t gotten all season in terms of simplicity. He thinks Thielen can do things underneath on pass plays that would probably help them. Steve said DK Metcalf has never been a great all-around receiver, so he always needs a complementary piece with him. Steve doesn’t understand why Pat Freiermuth has been neglected in this offense. Poni asked if the Arthur Smith offense is broken, but Steve said they aren’t alone. Steve thought the Darius Slay signing was a good one when it happened. Steve said Derrick Harmon has been pretty good, just dinged up this season. He thinks it’s frustrating to watch a team with 3 good edge rushers not do anything very creative in their blitzes.
